93/100 (Silver): Deep brick-red colour; complex developed bouquet of terra cotta, dark chocolate, mixed spices, tar and dried mushrooms. The wine is soft and mellow in the mouth, full-bodied and savoury, with lovely balance and drinkability. Sweet fruit at its core. It's showing maturity now and is in no danger of fading for a few years yet. Excellent drinking. Best Drinking 2023 to 2029.

94/100: It’s spicy and fragrant, showing dark plum, smoked game, mint, tapenade and toasted almond characters on the nose, leading to a refined palate delivering excellent focus and flow. The wine offers dark fruit richness together with savoury nuances backed by sturdy tannins, finishing persistent and engaging. Best drinking 2023 to 2033.

93/100: Under cork, this is from Western Victoria and already has a few years under its belt, more than both the currently available Grange and Hill of Grace. Elegantly packaged, my immediate impression was that this was a wine which would benefit from a spell in a decanter. Deep red hue, there is good oak integration here. Plums, blackcurrants, warm earth, dry herbs and bay leaves. This is a fine example of a cooler climate Shiraz, one with a little development already evident. Focus and balance, there is an appealing vibrancy on the palate. Fine, if slightly furry tannins. Good length. This has a further ten years in it, with ease.

88/100 (Bronze): Deep and very bright, youthful purple-red colour; red rose and red cherry aromas, fragrant and fresh. This has some pinosity and is quite charming. Light to medium bodied and soft with powdery tannins and a nice core of sweet fruit. Best Drinking 2024 to 2030.

92/100: This attractive Yarra Pinot spent time in a mix of French oak, old and new. The colour is a gleaming garnet/crimson. Some savoury touches here, this is earthy with aromas of raspberries, forest floor notes, dark cherries and kitchen herbs. The structure is seamless with quite a seductive texture and mouthpuckering acidity on the finish. A wine of medium length with a lingering conclusion, this should drink delightfully for at least the next four not six years.

88/100 (Bronze): Toffee apple and cherry blossom aromas lead into a flavoursome core that is red berry-centric. A whip of acidity serves to inject freshness while also cleansing the palate. It's ripe yet refreshing and carries flavour. Best Drinking 2025 to 2026.

91/100: A cooler climate style of Rose, quite finely structured and more elegant than many of its peers, this is a limpid pale pink/orange hue. The nose offers notes of spices, gentle red fruits, florals and hints of raspberries. There is bright, almost feisty, acidity. The wine is of medium length and will provide pleasure over the next twelve months.
